TAPLEJUNG: District Administration Office (DAO), Taplejung has imposed curfew in Taplejung district with the effect from Tuesday evening until another notice.

According to Rajkumar Niraula, the Chief District Officer of Taplejung, the curfew is imposed everyday from 7 pm to 4 am in the area within Deyurali in east, Tikhare in west, Janta secondary School, Hangdewa in north and Pahande in south.

Meanwhile, at least four persons involved in the Maoist activity have surrendered themselves to the District Administration Office, Taplejung on
