RAMECHHAP: Warden of Ramechhap district jail, assistant warden and a prison guard were injured when they were beaten up by the prisoners on Sunday morning. Warden Gopal Hayu, assistant warden Birkha Bahadur Sunuwar and guard Krishna Bahadur Ranamagar were injured in the attack, CDO Jitendra Bahadur Bhandari said. The injured are undergoing treatment in Ramechhap District Hospital. 'Condition of the injured is normal,' Uddhav Baral, chief at Ramechhap district jail said, adding that the prisoners had attacked the jail officials citing irregularities in the purchase of food and vegetables.
