SINDULI: General Secretary of UML Ishwor Pokhrel said that a political consensus among parties could sack CoAS Rookmangud Katawal before his tenure expires.

Speaking at an interaction programme organised by the Press Chautari on Wednesday Pokhrel said that the UCPN-Maoist tried to impose an authoritarian rule by sacking the CoAS through unilateral decision. Pokhrel said that the government led by his party was not a puppet government as claimed by the Maoists since it was backed by the major political parties of the country.
