Sony brings hi-tech camcorders Kathmandu: Nepa Hima Trade Link Pvt Ltd has expanded its High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) Handycam camcorder offerings with three new HD models utilizing hard disk as storage as well as two new additions in standard definition (SD) which utilize the HDD and Memory Stick™ formats for recording. The impressive boost in sensitivity also reduces noise, offers higher image quality and smooth movement in low light conditions such as night scenes. Combined with the BIONZ image processor, the new ‘Exmor R’ CMOS Sensor delivers higher resolution for still image recording and dual recording, as well as enhanced smooth slow recording. The Windows-based netbook is powered by an Intel Atom processor and has 12 hours of battery life. With the feel of a full-function PC inside a portable aluminium chassis, the mini laptop weighs 1.25 kg, is slightly more than 2 cm thick, and offers connectivity options, including 3G/HSPA and Wi-Fi. It comes with an HDMI port for HD video out, a front facing camera for video calling, integrated Bluetooth and a SD card reader. Other features include the 10-inch glass HD ready display and integrated A-GPS which, working with Ovi Maps gadget, can pinpoint a user’s positions. Booklet 3G also gives other Ovi experiences, like access to and playback of millions of tracks through Nokia Music Store, or using Ovi Suite to sync from a Nokia smartphone.
