KATHMANDU: Three gold rings and one necklace were looted from Kantipur Jewellery shop in Thapagaon, Kathmandu, in a typical filmi fashion yesterday. Two persons came on a motorcycle. “One of them showed up at the shop and asked us to show some jewellery, while the other kept the motorcycle in motion,” Aditya Man Shrestha, the owner of the shop, told the police, adding that no sooner had he shown him the jewellery, the person snatched it and fled on the motorcycle. The police have identified the registration number of the motorcycle and said an investigation into the case will be launched. — HNS
