KATHMANDU: In yet another breakthrough, the police here arrested a forger involved in producing government documents. A special squad of Balaju police arrested Keshari Prasad Dhakal alias Keshav Dhakal, 36, a resident of Saurpani VDC of Gorkha, from Balaju, on Thursday. SP Nawa Raj Silwal, in-charge of Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka, said that police had arrested him for the second time. “He was arrested in 2002 and released later on bail,” he said. The police also recovered a computer set, two colour printers, cables, CDs, counterfeit citizenship and passports of various persons, 173 stamps that included of national emblem, government offices, educational institutions, hospitals, police office, political parties, Tribhuvan University, Department of Immigration, and many other agencies. “We’ve also seized blank cards used for making fake driving licenses, academic certificates and Bhutanese birth certificate,” informed Silwal.
