KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Xavier, Golden Peak and Greenland won their senior boys’ section matches at the fourth Valley Public Inter-school Basketball Tournament. Kathmandu Xavier defeated hosts Valley Public 50-39, Golden Peak beat Om Gyan Mandir 60-12 and Greenland hammered Elam Kids 30-5. In other boys’ matches, Nightingale beat Bhanubhakta Memorial 31-15 and Gauri Shankar defeated Awareness Academy 42-16. In girls’ section, Clinton Public beat Ganesh 14-10.
