Beyonce: 'I'm a work machine'

LONDON: Beyonce is so devoted to her music, she often refuses to pause for meal times while she's in the recording studio or rehearsing for performances. The Irreplaceable hitmaker insists her career is her main focus, and she's so passionate about entertaining fans that she'll forgo breaks in order to keep on working. She says, "When you are the person that created the music and you know how you want things to look, it's all harmony, it all has to work together. "When I work I don't eat, I don't use the restroom. I'm like a machine and I think my team is just as crazy as I am because they are right there with me, pushing it and pushing themselves. In the end it's a team effort and it is overwhelming. It's hard." And the singer, who is notoriously shy about her love life, reveals her work is inspired by her personal experiences, including her relationship with her husband, rapper Jay-Z. She adds, "People don't know that these songs meant more than just the songs that are catchy. It's my life. "A lot of the people in the audience would know Crazy in Love, but would not particularly know this is when I met my first love - my husband. There's an actual story behind all of my songs and why I wrote the songs and I wanted to show that."
