KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist said that its Chairman ‘Prachanda’ would declare Sherpa autonomous state in Salleri of Solukhumbu on December 14 and Newa autonomous state in Kathmandu on December 16. As per the schedule, Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav' will address the declaration of Kochila and Post Bahadur Bogati and Janardan Sharma will address the function of Limbuwan at Myanglung of Tehrathum on December 11.Chand will also address the function of Bhote-Lama autonomous state at Simikot of Humla on December 15. Meanwhile, on December 13, Narayan Kaji Shrestha 'Prakash' and Lekhraj Bhatta will address a function of Seti-Mahakali state at Dipayal and CP Gajurel and Leelamani Pokhrel at the function of Tharuwan autonomous state at Nepalgunj. General secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' will address the function of Kirant autonomous state at Diktel of Khotang on December 14 and Magarat autonomous state at Tansen of Palpa on December 17. Shrestha and Tilak Pariyar are scheduled to address the function of Bheri-Karnali autonomous state at Jumla on December 15. Dr Baburam Bhattarai is scheduled to address the function of Tamsaling autonomous state to be held on December 16 at Narayanthan Timal of Kavre. Dr Bhattarai and Ram Kumari Yadav will address the function of Madhesh state in Janakpur on December 18. Dev Gurung will address the declaration function of Tamuwan state in Pokhara on December 17. As per the schedule of third phase movement of the party, the women's organisation is scheduled to gherao all 75 DAOs on December 3 demanding action against the police officers involved in the rape of their colleague at Achham district. On December 7, the Maoist affiliated teachers' organisation will shut all the educational institutions nationwide. On the same day, the entrepreneurs will gherao the major customs offices of the country urging people not to pay tax to the 'puppet government'. On December 8, the youths and players would gherao the Ministry of Finance, besides a motorbike rally and demonstration. All transportation and industries will be shut on December 9 and YCL will lead the campaign to observe the international borders in between December 11 and 18. On December 19, torch rallies will be organised throughout the nation. While a general strike is scheduled for three days from December 20.
