Kirtipur, May 2:

A map of Nepal, considered to be the biggest map of Nepal so far, made out of metal by late Dr Tony Hegan has been placed at the Tribhuvan University (TU) library.

The map was handed over to the library by the daughter of the Swiss scholar late Dr Hegan and Dr Kartin Hegan. Late Hegan had spent nine years to prepare the map from 1951 to 1959. The map is considered the biggest made so far which is 14-metre long and six feet wide.

The library is determined to place the map in a proper manner for which late Hegan had put painstaking efforts.
