Gusto 125 rolls out

KATHMANDU: Mahindra Two-wheelers Pvt launched its much-awaited scooter — Gusto 125 in Nepal on March 11, making Nepal the first country to launch the scooter even before India. Agni Motoinc, authorised distributor of Mahindra Two-wheelers, rolled out the scooter at an introductory price of Rs 179,000.

Mahindra Gusto comes with a powerful 125 cc engine and refined M-TEC engine technology with added features such as stronger crankshaft and bearings, high inertia magneto, height energy HT coil and series regulator, which deliver superior power, fuel efficiency and reliability. The engine delivers a maximum power of 8.5 bhp at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5500 rpm.

Cabinet Shrestha, Managing Director, Agni Group added, “We are very proud that Gusto 125 is being launched in Nepal even before India which clearly shows Mahindra’s commitment to Nepal.” He further shared, Gusto 125 will complement the strong sales of Rodeo UZO, which Nepalis have been loving all along.

The scooter consists of consumer inspired techno-logy features like height adjustable seat, 12-inch wheels with tubeless tyres, front telescopic suspension with airsprings, long stroke hydraulic rear suspension, high ground clearance and wide wheel base ensure safety and stability.

Some innovative features like remote flip key with an LED panel, find-me lamps, guide lamp, bright halogen headlamp with LED pilot lamps, easy front kick and a quick storage compartment make this scooter distinct from others. The new Gusto is available in four distinctive colour options — Orange Rush, Regal Red, Bolt White, and Monarch Black.
