Tata Hexa launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading, the sole authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, introduced the most awaited SUV Tata Hexa in the Nepali market on November 22. Guenter Karl Butschek, CEO and MD of Tata Motors, handed over keys to the first batch of 11 customers at its launch.

Hexa comes with a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine with 156PS / 400Nm. It is loaded with features like projector headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, six airbags, traction control system, hill hold control, hill descent control, automatic headlamps, and a 10-speaker JBL audio system amongst others.

The company through a press release states, “It features ‘Super Drive Modes’ that can be activated through a well-placed rotary knob, on the centre console. The ‘Super Drive Modes’ allows the driver to seamlessly switch between the four different driving modes — auto, comfort, dynamic and rough road.”

Talking about his anticipation, Butschek says, “We are confident that this complete package will be an instant hit in a highly popular but immensely competitive segment and will surely excite the new-age customers of Nepal.” Only XT 4x4 variant is available in Nepal, priced at Rs 77, 95,000.
