AAN celebrates 28th anniversary
Kathmandu, June 19
The Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) celebrated its 28th anniversary by organising various programmes.
Inaugurating AAN’s anniversary event, Prem Kumar Shrestha, joint secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications, who was also chief guest on the occasion, said the fact that the ministry and AAN had been working in coordination with each other was a benefit for the entire advertising sector of the country. He also praised AAN for holding different corporate social responsibility activities.
The anniversary event, which was organised at the association’s office in Shantinagar, was attended by AAN’s former heads, members and stakeholders of the advertising industry of Nepal.
Rabindra Kumar Rijal, chairman of AAN, said that it was an honour to lead the association and be involved in organising various social activities for the benefit of the people. In association with Mediciti Hospital, AAN had organised free health camp as part of AAN’s anniversary celebration. On the occasion, Bijay Rimal, general manager of Mediciti Hospital, said that such health camps will be beneficial especially in the backdrop of increasing heart risks among Nepalis. As per AAN, more than 200 people benefited from the health camp.
