Additional stock worth Rs 11 billion listed in NEPSE

KATHMANDU: Additional stock equivalent to around Rs 11.33 billion have been listed in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

According to the latest details issued by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the paid-up capital of the companies listed in NEPSE has surpassed Rs 360 billion.

A total of 198 companies have been registered at NEPSE and among them 147 are banks and financial institutions.

The value of issued Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) is Rs 3.05 billion while that of the issued right shares is equivalent to Rs 3.12 billion.

Likewise, the value of bonus shares is Rs 5.16 billion. Of 198 listed companies, 18 are related to manufacturing and processing, and 21 are hydropower projects. Four each are related to hotel and trade group while four are related to others.
