RAMPUR: The Chapakot branch of Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) in Syangja district, which was displaced during the decade-long armed conflict, was re-established on Monday.

The ADBL branch which was established in 2042 BS was relocated from Chapakot in 2057 BS.

The bank has issued credit amounting to Rs 13 million and collected more than Rs 8 million in deposit, Branch Manager, Bishworaj Marasini said. During the inaugural ceremony nine service recipients opened their savings accounts.
