Ask Me operating legally, claims company

Ask-Me, run by Himalayan TeleCommerce Company Pvt Ltd, has refuted media allegations that the VSAT owned and being used by it is not legal.
The AskMe management today clarified that it has been using VSAT as per the permission given by Nepal Telecommunications Corporation (NTC), in a press statement issued here today.
The company has been inspected by a team of NTC experts who did not find anything amiss in its equipment or operation. The management of Ask Me further clarified that it does not have the technology to send international calls through the local call system.
The company agreed that if any individual or institution could prove that its operations
are illegal, the company is ready to pay any amount of fine as per the rules.
Previously some local media reports stated that some equipment in the Ask Me have been seized from the company. But the company has refuted these allegations. "If there are illegal equipment, we will be the first to welcome a disclosure. We demand that concerned authorities seize illegal equipment, if there are any, not only from Ask Me but also from other organisations," states the press statement.
The NTC inspection team has not found any illegal equipment being used by Ask Me and the news published in newspapers is totally false, further states release.
