Dhaka, February 15:

A Bangladesh private airline is all set to fly to Kathmandu. An official said Bangladesh and Nepal were likely to revise the air services agreement next month, enabling GMG Airlines Ltd, a private Bangladesh Airlines, to fly to the Himalayan kingdom’s capital Kathmandu. The airlines currently is eyeing more flights to India. Taking advantage of India’s liberalised aviation policy, GMG is looking to increasing its operations to India. The move follows India’s offer to foreign airlines of unlimited flight frequency during the peak tourism season from November to March. GMG Airlines — which currently operates two weekly flights on the Dhaka-Kolkata route — will begin daily flights on the sector from February 18.
