Kaski fair a hit

KASKI: More than 300,000 people

visited the sixth Lekhnath Mahotsav. Until now, the fair has made transactions worth Rs 150 million, said

last day, nearly 100,000 visitors came and the day saw transactions worth Rs 40 million,” he said. According to the promotion committee, the fair has 332 stalls.

Loss of property

BHADRAPUR: Property worth around Rs 300,000 was gutted after a fire broke out in a house at Prithvinagar of Jhapa district. The fire completely gutted a two-storey house of local Kul Bahadur Pradhan. The victim’s assets including gold and other property were also destroyed.
