AFCL posts profit

KATHMANDU: Ace Finance Company Ltd (AFCL) registered an operating profit of Rs 31.35 million during the fiscal year 2004-05. The total deposits touched Rs 779.38 million, whereas the total lending stood at Rs 678.62 million during the period, states a press release issued here today. — HNS

SFDBL holds AGM

BHAKTAPUR: The third AGM of Small Farmers’ Development Bank Ltd (SFDBL) concluded here on Saturday. Ram Chandra Maharjan, chairman of SFDBL said, “114 small farmers cooperatives have been handed over to the bank by the end of this fiscal year.” The bank has invested a loan of Rs 441.7 million. — RSS

CHITWAN: Inland Revenue Office at Bharatpur of Chitwan has collected revenue in a tune of Rs 1.27 billion in the fiscal year 2004-05. The target was of Rs 1.34 billion. — RSS
