StanChart’s new ATM

KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has installed one more 24-hour automated teller machine (ATM) at its Lalitpur branch office. Sujit Mundul, CEO of the bank inaugurated the ATM at Jawalakhel, on Friday. Now, SCBNL has 10 ATMs in operation in the country. With the launch of its first ATM in August 2000, the bank is considered a pioneer in providing such services, states a press release issued by the bank. — HNS

ICT summer school

KATHMANDU: SchoolNet-Japan, an association of teachers of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) education in Japan, is going to conduct a summer school in Kathmandu from August 17 to August 28. As part of the summer school, 40 students of class 10, 11 and 12 will be given training on ICT, Internet technologies, critical thinking and Japanese language by Japanese teachers. To conduct the summer school, 15 teachers from Japan are coming to Nepal on August 15. — HNS
