Bancassurance pact

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd and Shikhar Insurance Company Ltd signed the Bancassurance agreement on Monday. Under the agreement, clients of Sunrise Bank and others will get facility of premium deposit and other insurance-related facilities of Shikhar Insurance from the bank. General manager of Sunrise Bank Suman Neupane and chief executive officer of Shikhar Insurance Deep Prakash Pandey signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Merger rejected

KATHMANDU: The second special general meeting of Siddhartha Finance Ltd (SFL) on Saturday rejected the process of its merger with other four finance institutions. Earlier, SFL, Mahalakshmi Finance Ltd, Birgunj Finance Ltd, Butwal Finance Ltd

and Himchuli Development Bank Ltd had decided to merge and form a national level commercial bank. The SFL meeting has decided to issue bonus share and 2:1 rights share in the coming days.

Honda service camp

KATHMANDU: Syakar Company, the authorised distributor of Honda power products in Nepal, is conducting a service camp for its existing customers from January 21-23 in Balkumari of Lalitpur district. The camp will not only have expert technicians who will execute the maintenance of Honda gensets at 50 per cent discount price but also an additional 10 per cent discount on engine oil and genuine Honda spares.
