Issue manager

KATHMANDU: Bishwa Bikas Bank Ltd will issue ordinary shares of 9,36,000 units at Rs 100 each. The bank has appointed Growmore Merchant Banker Ltd as issue manager. The issue agreement was signed by the chief executive offer of the bank Samir Shekhar Bajracharya and general manager of Growmore Kabindra Dhoj Joshi on Thursday.

Ace Bank dividend

KATHMANMDU: The 14th AGM of Ace Development Bank Ltd in Kathmandu on Thursday decided to give 5.5 per cent cash dividend from the profit of fiscal year 2008-09. The bank collected total deposit of Rs 26.23 billion, invested Rs 22.50 million and earned profit Rs 51.90 million in the fiscal year. In addition to its six branches, Ace is planning to open three more in this fiscal year. Ace will also spin off its merchant banking wing into Ace Capital Ltd.

StanChart’s card

KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Ltd introduced Diva credit card to its Diva club customers on Thursday. Bank CEO Sujit Mundul launched the card amid a function here on Thursday. The bank has introduced Diva Savings Account for women. The card is designed to support women’s financial needs.

BDBL’s rights shares

KATHMANDU: Business Development Bank Ltd, in its first quarter financial statement, has announced its preparations for the distribution of 1:2.1 rights shares. According to a press statement, the bank registered total deposits of Rs 1.53 billion, credit investment of Rs 1.46 billion and operating profit of Rs 20 million in the quarter.
