NEPALGUNJ: In Nepalgunj, the main commercial centre of the mid-west. due to swift banking service, attractive savings and loans, people are thronging private banks. Twelve international level banks have opened base in Nepalgunj. Krishna Prasad Shrestha, a local businessperson said attraction for private banks had increased due to rapid and easier services to the people. Banking transactions have also soared after the improvement in business due to investment friendly environment since the Comprehensive Peace Accord. Nepal Rastra Bank said 13 banks and five financial institutions providing banking services in Nepalgunj. — RSS
