NBL profits up

KATHMANDU: Nepal Bank Ltd (NBL) posted Rs 458.8 million net profit, an increase by 546 per cent, in the first six months of this fiscal year against last fiscal’s Rs 69.6 million net profit in the corresponding period. The deposit also increased by 7.84 per cent to Rs 42.90 billion. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Shree Eco Visionary Pvt Ltd has introduced Samsung Pleomax CFL bulb in the market. The company has introduced these energy saving bulbs to help downsize energy consumption and load-shedding. These bulbs can light for upto 8,000 hours and save up to 80 per cent electricity. — HNS
