KATHMANDU: Development Credit Bank Ltd (DCBL) inaugurated its third branch at Banepa. In December, the bank will inaugurate another branch at Gabahal in Lalitpur. It recently got its licence to operate as a merchant bank. — HNS

Bajaj winner

KATHMANDU: Sonam La Lama of Boudha in Kathmandu (C No 4778) won the eleventh Samsung Home Maker Pack under the Bajaj ‘Bhagya Bidhata’ scheme. Bajaj sold 8,054 motorcycles in eleven weeks. The last winner of the Bajaj Bhagya Bidhata scheme will be named coming Sunday while the bumper prize of the Daihatsu Sirion car will also be announced that day. — HNS

Milk export

BHIMPHEDI: The Hetauda Milk Distribution Project has started selling quality milk to Patna Dairy Project from the third week of November. Some 30,000 litres of milk are being sold to the Indian project daily. The project collects milk from six Tarai districts and Makawanpur through 120 dairy cooperatives. It pays Rs 17.4 million to the cooperatives every month. Project chief Dhruv Kalpit said they were exploring ways to collect more quality milk and sell it to Patna Dairy project and other urban-based dairy plan projects. — RSS
