LBL’s Itahari branch

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Bank Ltd (LBL) inaugurated its 15th branch office at Itahari on Monday. Its next branch will open at Maharajgunj in Kathmandu. The bank has paid up capital of Rs 915 million and issued debentures of Rs 350 million. It has earnings of Rs 82.50 million for the first quarter of this financial year, an increase of 67.42 per cent compared to the same period the previous year. — HNS

Bajaj prize winners

KATHMANDU: Bajaj Motorcycles announced the fifth and sixth winners of its scheme ‘Bhagya Bidhata’. Manoj Acharya of Dhapakhel and Mahendra Maha of Pulchowk were announced as the winner of Samsung Home Maker pack. According to a press statement, Bajaj has been able to sell 5,586 bikes within six weeks since the scheme began. The names of winners of seven more Samsung Home Maker packs are yet to be announced and the name of winner of the bumper prize Daihatsu Sirion car will also be announced in the coming weeks. — HNS
