DCCI poll

DADELDHURA: Prakash Bahadur Saud has been elected chairman of Dadeldhura Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). Lok Raj Bhatta, Deepak Raj Bohora, Puskar Dutta Paneru, Meena Phulara, Tirtha Raj Joshi, Bhim Bahadur Mahara, Man Bahadur Year, Durga Dutta Chataut, Khem Raj Paneru, Tek Bahadur Bhandari, Bharat Raj Bhatta and Santosh Jairu were elected members.

Pipeline severed

DANG: A key drinking water pipeline became the victim of a brawl between locals of two villages in Dang district. Villagers of Hapur-8 cut off the water pipeline of Hapur Drinking Water Scheme No. 1, saying that only locals of Durkholi were provided with drinking water. A local of Durkholi, Cheth Nath Lamsal, said a team of 30 locals of Hapur-8 chopped the water pipe in protest. They have also threatened of launching an agitation.
