UNITE gets uptight
KATHMANDU: Union For National Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurs Nepal (UNITE), on Wednesday issued a press statement saying, “The budget was two months late and in comparison to last year it is 44 per cent bigger, which is quite ambitious. Revenue has been increased by 32 per cent and foreign aid fund by 91 per cent.” UNITE said the budget had ignored many sectors. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd (MBL) inaugurated its fifth branch at Barahi Chowk of Lakeside in Pokhara. According to a press statement issued on Wednesday, MBL now has 20 branches. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Ace Development Bank Limited (ADBL) inaugurated its first ATM counter at Kirtipur. According to a bank press statement issued on Wednesday, Kirtipur did not have any ATM service until now and it is expected that the ATM counter will prove to be a relief for the people
