RBB’s special facilities

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has announced special facilities for its 100 special customers that include free services at Radisson Executive Lounge in Tribhuvan International Airport while flying to international destinations, states a press release. Under the scheme, customers will get free food and cold drinks, fully air-conditioned meeting room, retrieving room, newspapers, TV, luggage drawers, toilets, smoking zone and information on flight schedule. The disabled customers will also get the same facilities from Radisson disabled lounge. — HNS

Bhatta wins Rs 25,000

KATHMANDU: Risik Automobiles, authorised dealer of Morang Auto Works (MAW) that is the sole authorised distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, has organised ‘Yamaha Mini Mela’ at Jawalakhel from May 7. Under the scratch card scheme, Tika Ram Bhatta, a purchaser of Yamaha Gladiator ‘SS’ Model won Rs 25,000 as discount on Friday. The Mela will last till May 10. — HNS

Qatar Air’s expansion

KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways has announced its aggressive expansion plans over the next few years including orders for more than 200 aircrafts worth over $30 billion. Akbar Al Baker, CEO of the airlines, said the airline’s aircraft orders would help facilitate the country’s economic drive forward and turn Qatar into both a leading regional and global aviation hub. — HNS

Cement seized

PARASI: A patrolling team of Armed Police Force seized 350 sacks of illegally imported cement worth Rs 2,00,000 from Ramgram Municipality on Thursday. It was seized from a truck. But the driver managed to flee. The truck and the cement was handed over to the main customs office, Bhairahawa. — RSS
