NATO’s appeal
KATHMANDU: Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO) has requested various agitating groups not to obstruct the movement of tourist-carrying vehicles as they might get stranded en route. A NATO statement read that due to unpredictable political incidents, strikes and blockades many tourists are canceling their trips to various spots. — HNS
NCC team meets FM
KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Surendra Pandey urged representatives of Nepal Chambers of Commerce (NCC) to focus on bringing economic revolution in the country. NCC president Surendra Bir Malakar assured of the private sector’s efforts in that direction. — HNS
Imperial’s rights share
KATHMANDU: Imperial Finance has opened 1:1 rights shares worth Rs 50 million (500,000-units). After this, the paid up capital of the finance company will be Rs 100 million. It plans to open branches in Chitwan and Pokhara in the near future. — HNS
NAMF new team
KATHMANDU: The second general convention of Nepal Auto Mechanics’ Federation elected Mahesh Bajracharya as president. According to a press release, Baburam Dhakal has been elected first vice-president and Uttam Poudel second vice-president, Thakur Prasad Neupane general secretary and Sanat Kumar Bhattarai secretary. The convention was held in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Saturday. — HNS
