Prudential’s dividend

KATHMANDU: Prudential Insurance Co has approved six per cent dividend at its sixth AGM on Sunday. The company has posted the premium earnings of Rs 90.88 million in the last fiscal year that is an increment by 12 per cent in comparison to last year. “The profit before earning has also gone up by 21 per cent in 2063-64,” states a press release. Similarly, it has posted premium earnings of Rs 60.76 million during the first seven months of current fiscal year that is an increment by 16 per cent in comparison to the same period last year. — HNS

Designing workshop

KATHMANDU: A one-day long workshop on designing was organised by Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal on Monday. “The workshop was organised to discuss on improvment of quality of handicrafts and increase exports,” states a press release. Fifteen participants from various fields like woodcrafts, silver jewellery, metal craft, traditional arts, fashion designing and business took part in the workshop. — HNS
