CSCCL holds AGM

KATHMANDU: Civil Savings & Credit Co-operative Ltd (CSCCL) held its seventh annual general meeting on Saturday. “The co-operative has collected Rs 1,381,715,009, and lent Rs 1,248,501,501, in the fiscal year 2063-64 BS, states a press release. Rice output up

KALAIYA: The production of rainy season rice in Bara fell down by 10 per cent this year in comparison to last year’s production. According to Shankar Prasad Pandeya of the district agriculture development office, flood — during the rice planting season — was the reason for the decrease in the production. The district has produced 62,330 metric tonnes of rice this year. Last year, it had produced 85,520 metric tonnes. — RSS
