RBB posts profits
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has recorded a net profit of Rs 160.28 million for the first quarter of this fiscal year. “It is an increase by 64 per cent in comparison to the same period last fiscal year,” states a press release. Its loan portfolio stands at Rs 24 billion and has a deposit of Rs 53.19 billion. RBB has now 75 computerised branches and 28 of them have ABBS. It has only one ATM at present but is installing ATMs at six more places. — HNS
Kist has more ATMs
POKHARA: Kist Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd has started its ATM service in Pokhara from Friday. Kist is the first finance company to have its own ATM that are now four in number. “Kist is also providing self service banking -Kist SSB Debit,” states a press release. — HNS
United pays deceased
KATHMANDU; United Insurance Co (Nepal) Ltd has paid Rs 8 million — Rs 2 million each to the families of four security guards, who died in Afghanistan in an accident on April 17. They were working with UNOPS, Afghanistan. “Rabi Man Joshi, GM of the insurance company handed over the cheques to families of those killed,” states a press release. — HNS
NIDC to give bonus
KATHMANDU: NIDC Capital Markets Ltd (Bittiya Sanstha) has decided to give 35 per cent bonus share and six per cent cash dividend to its share holders. “The board of directors on Friday decided to give bonus and dividends from the profits of fiscal year 2063-64,” states a press release. — HNS
