KEC TV unveils offer

KATHMANDU: Alankaran Electronics Pvt Ltd, the producer of KEC TVs, has now come up with a scheme as ‘Bhagya Tapainko...KEC Ko Saath, Jadaina Khali Haat’ for its products. Customers will get a scratch card on every purchase of KEC TV and by scratching it one can win cash worth Rs 500 to Rs 10,000, states a company press release issued here. This scheme ensures a minimum of Rs 500 on every purchase of KEC. Produced by Alankaran Electronics, a subsidiary of Kedia Organisation, KEC TVs are available in different attractive models. — HNS

CMBFL’s profit up

KATHMANDU: Capital Merchant Banking & Finance Ltd (CMBFL) has made an operating profit of Rs 41.7 million during the fiscal year 2006-07. The finance company also raised its deposit base to over Rs 1.06 billion with collection of an additional Rs 310.04 million during the period. The company’s loans and advances touched Rs 882 million at the end of the fiscal, states a company press release here, today. While, CMBFL’s non performing loans dropped to Rs 17.7 million or 1.6 per cent during the period. — HNS
