M&M free service

KATHMANDU: Agni Incorporated, the authorised distributor of Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles for Nepal, is conducting a free service camp for all Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) vehicles from July 8 to 10, at its workshop in Balaju. Specialists from Mahindra & Mahindra India will be checking the vehicles with a 15 per cent discount on spares and lubricants. Other offers include a free eye check-up for all Mahindra & Mahindra owners as well as surprise gifts, states a press release issued here today. Wai Wai X-press

KATHMANDU: CG Foods (Nepal) Pvt Ltd has introduced a new instant noodle, Wai Wai X-press in the market. Launched under the name of its flagship brand Wai Wai, the new product is the first white noodle fortified with calcium, protein, and Vitamin A. The Wai Wai X-press is the only white noodle, which comes with two seasonings, states a company press release here. The product is priced at Rs 10 per packet. —HNS

Reckitt’s Strepsils

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Marketing & Trading House Pvt Ltd, the super stockist of Reckitt Benckiser India, has launched Strepsils in the market. Strepsils is a line of lozenges launched in Nepal under Boots Heal-thcare International brands that Rec-kitt acquired in 2006. Strepsils has be-en in production since 1958 and contains two ingredients, mild antiseptics that kill bacteria associated with throat infections. Strepsils is available in three different tastes of orange, ginger lemon and regular. —HNS

Chambers’ role hailed

KATHMANDU: FNCCI has lauded various activities under public-private partnership run by Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). Welcoming a delegation of LCCI, Chandi Raj Dhakal, FNCCI president said that the district and municipal chambers have played a laudable role in local development through such partnership. He said that FNCCI has plans to forge partnership with chambers to run one-village-one product schemes. —HNS
