Sino-Taiwan trade up
TAIPEI: Bilateral trade between Taiwan and China in the 11 months to November rose by 15.8 per cent from a year earlier to $80.40 billion. The figure accounted for 20.6 per cent of Taiwan’s external trade during the period, up from 19.9 per cent previously. For the January-November period, Taiwan registered a trade surplus with China of $35.08 billion, up by 7.1 per cent, as exports rose by 13 per cent to $57.74 billion while imports rose by 23.7 per cent at $22.66. —AFP
