Butwal fest in offing :

Kathmandu: The Butwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry today announced its plans to organise ‘Butwal Festival- 2063’ on December 29 -January 8 in Butwal. Aimed at promoting the unique natural and cultural attractions of this region, the festival will also showcase the different agricultural and industrial products of Butwal. According to Nepal Tourism Board, which is promoting the festival, the event will help enhance the local trade and tourism activities in this region. There will be different stalls in the festival showcasing various tourism products of the area. At a press conference held in the capital today, the organiser highlighted the tourism potentiality of the western part of Nepal especially Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. With a good air and road connectivity with rest of Nepal, Butwal acts as a gateway for the western region. — HNS

BoJ cautious on rate :
