HAN’s concerns :

KATHMANDU: Hotel Association Nepal (HAN), a body of hoteliers and tourism related people, have criticised that the government lack ‘effective-security-technologies’ and is not paying serious attention to prevent helicopter crashes as the recent incident left 24 people dead in Taplejung, says a HAN statement. HAN expressed sorrow over the untimely demise of state forest minister Gopal Rai along with other important people. FNCCI has also expressed sorrow over the untimely death of senior personalities from the helicopter crash. — HNS

Coffee farming :

DHADING: Basic training on coffee production was held here for 150 interested farmers of Sunaula Bazar VDC. Organic Coffee Production government organisation has started farming coffee in order to encourage farmers of Sunaula Bazar VDC, of which the climate and topography are ideally suited for coffee farming. Experts in coffee production and farming facilitated the training. — RSS

Cash crunch in bank :

UDAYAPUR: Bank customers of Rashtriya Banijya Bank (RBB), Gaighat branch could not receive cash from the bank due to lack of liquidity since last Friday. Lack of cash resulted due to the delay in money transfer from Nepal Bank, Biratnagar as no flights are operating owing to bad weather, according to the bank. The crowd of customers who came to withdraw money from the bank was visibly upset. — RSS
