Kathmandu, September 18 :

Subash Chandra Nemwang, speaker of the House of Representatives today released a book entitled ‘Sarkari Budget Pranali’ (government budgetary system) written by deputy auditor general Badri Bahadur Karki.

Speaking on the occasion, Nemwang lauded the efforts of Karki for writing such a book, highlighting various aspects of the government budgetary system.

He expressed that the book would serve as a reference material for those who want know about government’s budgetary system in Nepal.

Karki said that governance is a vital part of the government budgetary system, which in many cases in Nepal is lacking. “Good governance not only upholds transparency but also ensures effective implementation which will have positive impact on end results,” he added.
