Brand watch : Mahindra brings pick-ups

Agni Incorporated Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles, has introduced two new pick-ups — Mahindra Maxx Maxi and new version of Bolero — in the market. Mahindra Maxx Maxi truck, the cheapest in the Mahindra range, is a 2WD pickup priced at Rs 9,85,000, states a press release issued here today. It is powered by 2523 cc turbo charged engine with 46.3kW power. Similarly, the new version of Bolero is a Flat Bed, which can be opened from three sides. The Bolero FB 2WD is priced at Rs 11,95,000. “With already proven reliable drive terrain and high ground clearance, it offers a new 2523 cc Turbo engine, bigger cargo box and good looks,” claims the company.

StaR City rolls in

KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two wheeler companies, today launched TVS StaR City ES, an electric start version of StaR City making it the first 100 cc motorcycle to be launched in the country. “TVS StaR City ES will come with the ecometre, an innovation for better mileage control,” states a press release issued here by Chaudhary Group. It has the best features like pass beam switch, push-cancel indicator, headlight fairing with halogen bulb and sporty look. TVS StaR City ES, which eyes 20 per cent market share in Nepal, is priced at Rs 1,05,994.
