According to a press release, Samurai Televisions have been targeted to techno-savvy Nepalis at an affordable price and a warranty of five (2+3) years. Samurai Televisions have been tested in different parts of the country under varying conditions for their ruggedness and they have successfully passed all the tests. The technology used in the TV is a result of five years of intense research and development and hence proved to be very reliable and durable ideally suitable for Nepal, adds the release. Samurai TV uses a latest I2C bus technology microprocessor; SMPS power supply that gives it a free voltage operation.

The technology is internationally accepted as many international brands have been using the similar technology. In addition to it, Samurai TV also has features like calendar, 250-channel memory, telephone directory and message writing. Samurai comes with a agline ‘dependable quality, right price.’ It has been launched with an introductory price of Rs 6,990 for 14” and Rs 11,500 for 21”.
