Call before leaving for TIA: Airline operators

Kathmandu, November 19

Passengers planning to travel in domestic airlines from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)’s domestic terminal have been urged to first communicate with the respective airline operators before leaving for the airport.

“As Nepal Oil Corporation has announced that it would be unable to provide refuelling facility for domestic airlines at the TIA from Friday (November 20), it is likely that the domestic flights will be affected until the supply situation eases,” a press statement issued by Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) reads.

Apologising for the inconvenience caused to the passengers, the umbrella body of domestic airline operators has asked passengers who have already been issued tickets to first check with their respective airlines before proceeding to the airport for departure.
