Camp Jeep kicks off

KATHMANDU: On Thursday, Jeep kicked off a four-day Jeep Camp in Kathmandu to demonstrate the potential and capabilities of its machines.

The legendary American carmaker, Jeep made its entry into the Nepali auto car market a year ago with numerous variants of Jeep Compass.

MAW Life, the authorised importer of Jeep SUVs in Nepal, called media and a few SUV enthusiasts to push its freshly launched Jeep Compass Trailhawk and Jeep Compass Limited Plus to their limits on a highly demanding artificially made offroad track on the premises of National Trading in Baggikhana, Kathmandu, as per a press release.

Vishnu Agarwal, MD of MAW Enterprises, flagged off the event by driving away the trail himself.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk was launched during NADA Auto Show and is priced at Rs 12.49 million in Nepal.

Launched a few months back, Jeep Compass Limited Plus is available in petrol and diesel variants and is priced from Rs 9.79 million to Rs 10.59 million.
