KATHMANDU: Chaudhary Foundation (CF), established by Chaudhary Group (CG) for its philanthropic activities, handed over 50 transitional homes to the earthquake-affected community of Taklung VDC in Gorkha district amidst a programme held on Monday. Despite the difficult situation, the Foundation has been giving top priority to CG Shelter Project, as per a press statement. The Group has been expediting construction and handover of transitional shelters in line with its commitment to build 10,000 transitional homes for those who lost their homes in the devastating earthquakes of April and May. Of these, the Foundation is building 1,000 transitional homes on its own and the remaining 9,000 in partnership with aid agencies.
