CG, K-12 ink joint venture

KATHMANDU: Chaudhary Group (CG) and Manipal K-12 today announced their joint venture in the field of school education.

According to CG executive director Nirvana Chaudhary, the venturewill offer management services to existing and new schools under the brand name CG-Manipal Schools. It will also offer ICT-based school learning solutions and tutorials.

The Manipal Group in India is present in over 20 countries across the globe and has students from over 50 nations.

Manipal runs two universities, four offshore campuses, 20 higher education institutions offering over 180 courses to more than 12,000 students every year.

The objective of CG-Manipal Schools is to provide quality education at a reasonable cost to Nepali students, added Chaudhary. The schools will be designed to use the right combination of technology and pedagogy for an effective learning process.

CG is one of the biggest business houses in Nepal.
