Kathmandu: Chaudhary Group (CG) celebrated its 137th anniversary at a function on Friday.

Binod Kumar Chaudhary, president and managing director, CG and managing directors Basanta Kumar Chaudhary and Arun Kumar Chaudhary jointly inaugurated the programme by releasing pigeons in the air. For Nepal, located at a strategic position between the world’s two fastest growing giant economies China and India, there are both challenges and opportunities ahead, said Binod Kumar Chaudhary.

Began with a small textile trading unit in 1870, the group has evolved as one of the leading business conglomerate with involvement in trading, manufacturing, service and hospitality as well as education and healthcare.

Basanta Kumar Chaudhary emphasised on capacity development of human resources.
