Civil Bank celebrates seventh anniversary

KATHMANDU: Civil Bank is celebrating its seventh anniversary on Sunday by organising various programmes across the country.

On the day of the anniversary, the bank will be distributing blankets in an old age home, as per a media release.

Similarly, it will be conducting blood donation programmes, financial literacy programmes and will also be providing scholarships to meritorious students of government schools from different locations throughout the country.

The bank earned Rs 113.3 million as net profit during first quarter of this fiscal — a growth of 679.18 per cent compared to corresponding period of last year.

The bank has recently called for 40 per cent rights share to increase its capital to Rs eight billion.

Also, the bank is extending its branch network to five different locations within this quarter, increasing the number of branches to 58 across the country.
