Civil partners Axis

KATHMANDU: Civil Bank has entered into an agreement with Axis Bank, Mumbai, India — Civil Bank’s Correspondent Agency for INR — to facilitate smooth transfer of funds from India to Nepal and vice versa.

The agreement was signed by SujitShakya, chief business officer, Civil Bank and L Sriraman, senior vice president and head, GFID (Domestic FI and NBFI) Financial Institutions Group, Axis Bank.

Axis Bank is a leading private sector bank in India with more than 2,000 branches spread all over India and now money can be remitted through these branches to any account maintained at any of the 56 branches of Civil Bank, as per a statement issued by Civil Bank.
