KATHMANDU: Keeping the convenience of its customers in mind, Civil Bank has started its online account system. This facility is being provided through the bank’s website, www.civilbank.com.np, and the ‘Ko Bancha Crorepati’ (KBC) mobile app, the bank said in a statement.

To open such account customers will have to fill in their personal details after which they will receive one unique code. Customers can then visit the nearest branch of Civil Bank and open an account after the verification of the unique code.

The bank will also deposit Rs 100 in such accounts. As per the bank, such accountholders will receive free debit card and internet banking for one year and free mobile banking service for two years.

Accountholders will also receive a cheque book at no extra cost and the bank will provide free accident or permanent disability insurance coverage of up to Rs five lakh.
