KATHMANDU: The 11th regional final of Real School of Nepal (RSoN) 2017 successfully ended for the Mid-Far Western Region - Nepalgunj on Thursday.

The regional champion was Jaya Bageshwari Secondary School and the participating students were Bipana Upadhayay, Dipesh Thapa, Suraj Bhandari, Karishma Pokharel, Ayasha Karki and Abhisekh Khatri, as per a press statement. They will participate in the grand finale to become the RSoN 2017 in Kathmandu.

The winners in the senior category were Hemant Rawat from Panchamukhi English Medium Secondary School for ‘Extempore’, Thapa from Jaya Bageshwari Secondary School for ‘Dance’ and Ristek Singh from United Educational Academy for ‘Football Juggling’.

The winners in junior category were Asmita Thapa from Bheri English Medium High School for ‘Painting’, Pokharel from Jaya Bageshwari for ‘3 Minutes to Fame’ and Nishant Bohara from Sagarmatha English Boarding School for ‘Score the Real Goal’.

Scholarships of Rs 25,000 for two needy and talented students were handed to Muktar Alam Sheikh and Rekha Dhobi.
